The Snugpak® Ionosphere™ Footprint is a tailored footprint to help protect the ground sheet of your Snugpak® Ionosphere™ IX WGTE Tent. (The WGTE series is Weather Gear Tested Edition, products designed for, and tested in a wide range of weather conditions.)

A tent footprint protects the bottom of your tent from damage caused by rough ground, prolonging its lifespan, and it adds an extra layer of waterproofing to keep the inside drier. It also simplifies the pitching process by providing a clear outline for where to set up your tent. The main purposes of a footprint are to protect the floor of your tent from abrasive objects (like sticks, roots, and rocks), to keep your tent clean of mud and tree sap, and to help you determine a good spot to pitch your tent.
