The Condor Country Backroads Knife features a hidden full tang design in hard-use 1075 with a high saber grind. A 90 degree spine facilitates use with fire steels. The handle is American hickory with stacked leather and G10 spacers.  The handcrafted welted leather sheath allows right or left handed carry and is mounted on a swivel dangler.

It is true that when a designer’s goal for a product is to be heavy-duty, then as the old saying goes: “Form Will Follow Function.” Jason Breeden is not just a designer though… he is a “Solutionist”. By his own definition, a “Solutionist” is a utilitarian artist that creates unique answers to obstacles. So, when Jason set out to engineer the Country Backroads Series, he was fulfilling a long-time quest to use and incorporate the gracefully functional leather-stacked handle type he has long admired. Pairing together naturally occurring materials, Hickory and Leather, gives a custom touch to a tried-and-true construction technique delivering beautiful and useful tools for a variety of tasks.
