ABOUT OUTLAST SUPPLY

SURVIVAL GEAR SUPPLY STORE

OUR MISSION

At Outlast Supply, our mission is to provide a trusted and curated assortment of tools that can help individuals and families outlast life’s potential interruptions.

OUR STORY

We are regular people with normal lives. We like TV, air conditioning, and running water. We also know that normal lives can be interrupted.
As a group of friends from the firearm industry with wildly different backgrounds, we came together with one overriding belief; we were the only ones responsible for our own safety, security, and well-being.
Outlast Supply is an unending journey for us. As we learn new skills, assess potential threats, and anticipate possible interruptions, we will continue to expand our product offering with the belief that the pursuit of happiness is always better with a plan.

Hurricane Milton

The concept of ground-to-air signaling began to take shape during World War II. Pilots and military personnel needed a reliable method to communicate their location and status to friendly aircraft after being shot down or forced to land.

After World War II, the US Military recognized the importance of having a standardized set of signals. This led to the formal development and adoption of Ground-Air Emergency Codes.

The standardization process was further expanded when NATO and other allied forces adopted similar codes, allowing for international cooperation in search and rescue operations.

The principles of Ground-Air Emergency Codes have also been adopted in civilian and commercial aviation. Pilots and outdoor enthusiasts are often trained in these signals as part of survival courses.

Today, Ground-Air Emergency Codes remain a crucial part of search and rescue operations. Modern technology, such as GPS and emergency beacons, has supplemented these traditional methods, but the basic principles still apply.
