Demko® Knives owner and founder, Andrew Demko, first began forging chisels in 1988, when he was in the seventh grade. He instantly realized this was his passion and began forging knives immediately. Like so many bladesmiths, Andrew began his journey from his garage, hammering out blade shapes and sharpening them on a small but manageable grinder.
While pursuing his dream, Andrews passion for engineering and attention to detail was noticed by Cold Steel. With Cold Steel, Andrew went on to engineer some of the most innovative, strongest locking mechanisms in the industry.
