The LionSTEEL KUR is an award-winning folder designed by Michele ‘Molletta’ Pensato.  With a beefy 3.43″ Sleipner steel drop point at 0.18″ thick, the KUR fills the hand with confidence. (The KUR won Knife of the Year at Blade Show 2016.)

LionSTEEL KUR

The drop point design has a flat grind for great slicing ability and is made from wear resistant Sleipner steel. Bohler Sleipner is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel with improved toughness compared to D2 along with good wear and chipping resistance.

The thick G10 scales have a 3D machined texture for grip that is comfortable in the hand and easy on the pockets. The scales have been machined out to accept steel liners that give the knife strength while helping to keep weight under control. A relief cut in the top scale provides easy access to the steel liner lock. A partial back spacer adds additional strength, an extended lanyard hole and secure clip mount platform. Carries via a reversible, tip-up, black stainless steel deep carry wire clip.

The KUR  is ideal for daily carry or outdoor use.
