MRE Star Case of 12 with Heater

Each MRE case contains 12 complete meals averaging 1200 calories per meal kit. The 12 complete meals are individually packaged and hermetically sealed – watertight and freshly dated for maximum shelf life. The M-018H is utilized by Federal, State and local government agencies across the United States to feed essential personnel.
MREs can be a great addition to your food stores and emergency preparedness plan as they tend to be cheaper per calorie than most freeze dried foods; however, MRE’s should not be your only food store because they tend to be high in sodium and low in dietary fiber.

The shelf-life of the MRE Star meals primarily depends upon the temperature at which they are stored. If the MREs are stored at a temperature of 80*F / 26.7*C, the current shelf life chart shows they will last a minimum of 36 months. The lower the storage temperature, the longer the shelf life.
