Based on reliable forward osmosis technology, the OTS Osmo Seal+ Desalination Filter is the most economical desalination solution. It is both simple to use and exceptionally reliable. It is able to filter virtually any available water without clogging, plus it provides 200 calories per pouch – critical in a survival situation. The Seal+ can be used in either salt water or fresh water. It is light weight and can fit in a backpack, suitcase, or boat survival kit.
To use, simply place pouch(es) in the enclosed mesh bag and submerge the bag in the water source. The filter will swell over time as water flows through the membrane wall into the pouch. Salts and other contaminants are blocked by the 0.0007 micron membrane filter. When finished, simply poke with the included straw and drink. The mesh bag can be re-purposed after use (pouches/filters are single use).
