While creating this meal, Peak knew from the start that the Peak Refuel Backcountry Bison Bowl had to have bison in it. Similar to the traditional Navajo taco dish, this meal consists of rice, beans, and bison meat in a delicious, creamy chili sauce. The best part? It also includes two whole buttermilk biscuits. This is a hearty, filling meal that not only has unbeatable taste and flavor, but will keep you full and content in the backcountry. These meals cook in pouch and make a great addition to your go bag or toss in your truck for the next hunting trip.

Preparation Instructions:

1. Open pouch at tear mark. Remove oxygen absorber.

2. Carefully add 1 3/4 cups (14 oz) boiling water to pouch.

3. Stir well and zip pouch closed. Let stand for 10 minutes.

4. Open pouch, stir again and enjoy!
