Uniden Bearcat BC125AT Features

  • Listen to over 40,000 frequencies: listen to civilian and military bands, including police, ambulance, fire, weather marine, aircraft, railroad and civil aviation.
  • 500 Alpha-Tagged Channels in 10 storage banks: Alpha Tagging lets you assign names to your channels so you can keep track of who you are listening to. Organize your channels by department, location, area of interest, or any other way you prefer.
  • Close Call RF Technology with DND: Sets the scanner, so it detects and provides information about nearby radio transmissions. Close Call Don-Not-Disturb checks for Close Call activity during channel reception so active channels are not interrupted.
  • PC Programming: Use the BC125AT SS Software and BC VUP software to set and program frequencies.
  • Scan by Service Type: Scan your channels by service type i.e. Fire, Police, Railroad, etc.
  • Non-Digital Scanner: The BC125AT is an analog scanner and is not capable of digital radio system monitoring (e.g. Project 25, DMR, NXDN, etc.) For digital radio system monitoring, please check out the Uniden SDS100.
  • Built-In Charger – allows you to charge Ni-MH batteries in the scanner using a USB port on any computer and the supplied USB cable. Lets you power the scanner using the included two AA rechargeable or alkaline batteries or the supplied USB cable.
  • Battery Saver – works when there is no transmission for 1 minute in Scan Hold Mode and any Search Hold Mode (without Priority Scan). This feature turns off RF power for 1 second and turns on it for 300ms to extend the battery life.
  • Frequency range:
    25-54 MHz (including CB)
108-174 MHz (including NOAA, MURS, VHF 2M amateur bands)
    225-380 MHz (including military air)
