The Fallkniven A1 Army Survival Knife has long been considered one of the benchmarks in the world of stainless survival knives. The A1 features a 0.24″ thick 6.3″ stainless steel laminated VG-10 clip point blade with a satin finish. The clip point blade is convex ground for extra strong cutting and penetrating power. Excellent at chopping and batoning, the A1 is surprisingly adept at finer tasks due to its ergonomically shaped and checkered Kraton handle.  A full tang knife, the A1 can be used for hammering tasks as the tang protrudes 1/16″ from the handle. The included sheath is very low-profile with a one-handed locking mechanism that secures the knife and safely enables upside down carry if desired.

VG-10 steel is a high-quality laminated stainless steel produced in Japan, known for its balance of hardness, durability, and ease of sharpening.
